To Fill A Void Between My Basement Floor And The Concrete Steps (Bilco) Of About 2"x 3'

A very stiff mix is required to fill this gap. 1 gallon would be the smallest kit size of Hydro-Seal 75. Use Sand Mix with Hydro-seal 75, 3 to 1 to 4-1 sand mix to Hydro-seal 75 depending on how big the crack is. 2 inches wide or deep I would go with the 4-1(stiffer) mix. You will not need that much, maybe 1/3 gallon of A & B. if you have a small amount of patching to do, pour off 10 % of your Hydro-Seal 75 mix to make your mortar. Use 10% Hydro-Seal 75 for your patching compound and apply remaining 90% of your Hydro-Seal 75 with rollers and brushes to area you are coating. This will eliminate costly waste of Hydro-Seal 75 by not mixing more mortar than is needed. 1.) Stir A, Stir B 2.) Mix A & B together 50-50. 3.) Pour off 10% or as much as you think you need for your mortar mix. 4.) Add Sand Mix (Potland Cement & Sand) to that 10 % at a 4 to 1 ratio stirring until completely blended and streak free. 5.) Use a coving tool, or the back of a table spoon (my choice) to force the mortar into the gap for a smooth rounded transition. This also works great where the floor meets the wall in a poured concrete foundation. Again, I use the back of a spoon to fill this type of joint with Hydro-Epoxy Mortar.
